About Us
Carolina Cancer Foundation started as Make A Wig Foundation. We have evolved to assisting cancer patients as well as our community with diagnosis screenings, psychological support, and financial resources since 2020.​
Being told that you have cancer is enough to digest alone. Surveys say that the first question that comes to mind after hearing this diagnosis is: “am I going to die?” The second question is: “who will help support my family while I receive treatments?” However, imagine a world were cancer can be prevented and detected early.​

Carolina Cancer Foundation help advocate and support our community by closing the gap in health inequalities. We educate and provide early detection tools and cancer screening access to all.
We believe in the power of community. Together we can define the future, and change the outcome on cancer mortality rates.
Our Mission
Carolina Cancer Foundation focuses on the quality of life for all individuals effected by cancer as well as cancer prevention and control in our community. Our mission is to bridge the gap on health inequities through free health & cancer screenings, and educational workshops to navigate patient care. We do so by offering Cancer Prevention & Control Support, Psychological Support, and Financial Resources. Access to healthcare screenings and financial resources in high poverty areas could result in far-reaching consequences if we don't bring about change in our communities.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a community where each individual, regardless of their age or demographics, has access to quality cancer support and early detection resources. Cancer can be prevented and treatable if detected early on.
